Desar-5 is a closed type irradiator. The source of ultraviolet radiation is ozone-free lamps with a wavelength of 254 nm. UV radiation with a specified wavelength has a wide spectrum of action on microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores.

Especially effective is the use of Dezar-5 during a dangerous epidemic situation. Desar-5 prevents the spread of infections such as influenza, acute respiratory infections, diphtheria, tuberculosis and many others by disinfecting indoor air. In addition, scientists have found that the SARS virus, an epidemic of which has swept almost the whole world, is sensitive to ultraviolet radiation, which means that Desar-5 is effective in controlling the spread of this disease.

The recirculator is intended for air disinfection of rooms of all categories: medical and preventive facilities (operating rooms, burn wards, medical rooms, wards, etc.). It can be used as a final link in the complex of sanitary and hygienic measures in preparing the premises for work, but its main task is to work in rooms where constant maintenance of aseptic conditions in the presence of people is required.

Lamp bulbs have a special coating, which, delaying radiation shorter than 200 nm, prevents the formation of ozone in the air and at the same time increases the lamp life up to 9000 hours.

Lamps create sufficient radiation to destroy all microorganisms present in the room (air disinfection efficiency, depending on the recirculator model, is 95-99.9%).

High-power UV radiation destroys biological and organic compounds, while removing the corresponding odors and tobacco smoke.
